Just watching Connie Chung and Maury Povich do interviews together, it is obvious they both have a good sense of humor and like to poke fun at each other. "Both Maury and I don't take ourselves seriously," Chung told Closer Weekly. "People in our business in television news are ridiculous. They become bigger than life in their own minds. And you can't fit their heads in Madison Square Garden!"

Despite the pressures that come with reaching their level of success in the television industry, it is clear they still know how to have fun and keep things light. During an April 2018 appearance on Megyn Kelly TODAY, host Megyn Kelly joked that the two of them are a "stand-up comedy routine." She recounted a time when Chung jokingly asked Povich who his celebrity partner in a celebrity golfing tournament was, poking fun at his status as the "celebrity." Chung gets an A+ for that hilarious burn in our humble opinion!

The antics don't stop there, though. During a November 2015 interview with the Television Academy Foundation discussing how they met, Chung quipped, "He never paid any attention to me, I was walking around in miniskirts and everything. And nothing." However, things changed around the time that Povich got divorced as well as fired from KNXT in Los Angeles, where he co-anchored the news with Chung. Povich sarcastically said, "I always say that the key to Connie Chung's heart is first she must pity you and then she can love you."
